What Good Driver Club Really Is
Good Driver Club is a driving-cost sharing community -- not an insurance company, broker, financial institution, or creditor. Members who pledge money receive no promise of indemnity and no risk transfer. It does not replace legally required liability insurance: every member keeps their own required liability insurance active regardless of membership. Reported savings are never guaranteed and depend on the driving behavior of the whole community. There is a real referral/affiliate program -- ask about it, and Good Driver Club's own site and materials have the actual specifics. How the Cost-Sharing Actually Works
Members maintain a Pledge Amount and an Out-of-Pocket amount. Each week, the community's real accident costs are totaled, and members each share a small portion of their Remaining Pledge Balance to help cover them -- your weekly share is capped, based on your own Pledge Amount, so your maximum possible share each week is always predictable ahead of time. When damage happens, a member's own Out-of-Pocket amount and Remaining Pledge Balance apply first, then the community shares the rest. The Good Driver Club Program is not insurance and does not provide indemnity or guaranteed payment for vehicle damage or repairs -- it facilitates voluntary donations among members, and no member is assured of receiving any monetary or non-monetary benefit. Good Driver Club is not an insurance company; this is a cost-sharing community, and every member keeps their own required liability insurance active regardless of membership.
