ClingMobile

Why connecting your platforms is safe

A real creator asked us directly: does connecting TikTok, Instagram, or any other platform here put your monetization status at risk? That's exactly the right question to ask before connecting anything, and the honest answer deserves to live somewhere you can actually read it -- not just in a privacy policy's legal language. This page explains, plainly, what each connection actually does.

The short version

Every platform connection below is read-only. ClingMobile never posts, publishes, edits, deletes, or changes anything on your behalf on any connected platform, and never has. Connecting only lets this app read information you've already made public (or basic account info), the same way any dashboard or analytics tool would, using each platform's own official developer login -- never a scrape, never a password, never anything outside what you explicitly approve on that platform's own consent screen.

What each connection actually grants

None of these include posting, publishing, uploading, messaging, or deleting anything -- those permissions are never requested, on any platform, today.

About monetization and Creator Fund status

Authorizing a legitimate third-party app to read your own public data through a platform's own official developer login is exactly what that login system is built for -- it's the same mechanism analytics tools, scheduling apps, and countless other real services already use. Monetization/Creator Fund eligibility is governed by each platform's own content policies, not by whether you've connected a read-only integration through their own official API. We don't control those platforms' policies and can't make guarantees on their behalf, but connecting here does not ask for, or receive, anything that would touch how you're allowed to use your own account.

What's not built yet

Posting or publishing video to YouTube on a creator's behalf has been discussed as a possible future feature, but it is not real today -- no such upload has ever happened through this app, and building it would require a separate, broader permission that isn't requested by the connection you'd approve now. If that ever changes, it would need its own new, explicit consent from you first -- never bundled into what you're approving today.

Disconnecting

Any connection can be removed at any time from the same place you connected it. Disconnecting never affects your account on that platform itself -- it only stops this app from reading that data going forward.

This page is a plain-language companion to the full privacy policy, which remains the governing legal document.
